In this first assignment for joiners and carpenters, we look at the basics of the carpenter's panel. The focus here is on the Palette CAD panel type system and material science in the panel material, coverings and edges tabs.

In the various areas, you will learn how to assign, create and exchange materials.

We also get an overview of the values stored in the databases. Afterwards, you should have a good idea of what these values can trigger in the trim optimisation or parts list.

We finish the job by printing a parts list, which we want to adapt to our needs.
